Alternate title: A Study In How Badly Kinja Suck In Internet Explorer
Rode in on a Comet. Love these tires.
The Road Sofa meets something older than itself.
Now with poorly-photoshopped version! Yay!
Ridiculous Pinto is ridiculous. The owner didn't know how fast it would do the 1/4 mile because this is a new engine for the season.
And dear god is it ever.
This patina makes me feel things.
HNNNNGSLABSIDED LAND BARGES
ELKYYYYY
I'm not sure what I'm looking at here, but this engine is ENORMOUS. My only guess is it's a V8 with a really shallow angle between each bank of cylenders, thus requiring a carb for each set of four? I dunno.
Plush sides, wood bed, a TV and an 8-track tape player. Hells yes.
More elky!
El Camino confirmed for financial ruiner.
Ridiculous amounts of engine
That paint tho. Couldn't stop taking pictures of this car.
All that super and only making 13 pounds of boost. Should have gone with twin sequential turbos :D
Interior of the Pinto
DID I MENTION THERE WAS AN IMMACULATE BUICK REATTA?
NO I DON'T THINK I DID.
And a hot rod
CNC milled adaptor plates for the super and the super pulley, rebuilt supercharger, completely hand-fabricated bodywork, currently making 550-600hp and about as much torque, but a larger supercharger and a NOS kit are on the way to push it north of 1000hp.

I can't quote the picture...because IE. (Love the title) but that's either a 426, 440, or Lord knows what Max Wedge in the 64 Plymouth. The manifold was just their 2x4 manifold at the time, after the crazy ass Cross-Ram.

I'll be in my bunk.

Yeah, could be a few things. I am thinking maybe a 413?

We should meet up this Saturday at the Corvette show at Davis Moore Chevy (Kellogg and Tyler)
There's a bunch of car shows coming up apparently:

Last Friday evening in Derby. And totally. I heart corvettes. Starts at around 6:00 I'm guessing?

Yeah, could be a 413 or 426 from the factory in that car.

I'll put together a heads up post on Oppo to try to get other people to show up as well. I'll probably also go to the Friday night show at Central and West, and there's another SCCA autocross on Sunday

SO MUCH CAR STUFF.
It would be hilarious for my dad's Passat TDI to tear up the AutoX course, what with the ridiculously loud clicking coming from the power steering pump and the totally gutless engine.

Well it did go until about 4, but no worries. I'll probably post a couple pictures from it here in a bit.
